New Franklin Assembly of God

Church Ministries

We have many different ministries in which we serve people of all ages. We encourage you to get involved with us as we share God's Love. Here is a partial listing of the many ministries we have:

Girls Ministries - Girl's Ministries Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Girl's Ministries provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders.  We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm pm.

In the Girl's Ministries Program we have a group called "Rainbows" which is for 3 and 4 year old boys and girls. They meet from 6:30 - 8:00 pm pm on Wednesdays also.

Royal Rangers - The mission of Royal Rangers is to reach, teach, and keep boys for Christ! The purpose of the Royal Rangers ministry is to evangelize boys for Christ, develop the total boy for Christ (spiritually, physically, mentally and socially), and keep boys in our churches. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Soldiers For Christ - Soldiers For Christ is our weekly Children's Church for kids from K-6th grade. We meet Sunday mornings during the morning worship service and are dismissed to go Children's Church at offering time.

Youth Ministries - Our Youth meet on Sunday evenings at 6 pm. Our leader is Russell Dick.

A staffed Nursery is provided for nearly all our services.

A Bible Study is held every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for all ages from youth, young adults and up.

A newer group we now have the The Gospel Trackers.   They meet on Sunday evenings from 6 - 8:30 pm.  After the adult worship time, the are dismissed and go to the Fellowship Hall for ministry and activities.

Discipline Born of Love

Read Ezekiel 25:1 through 28:26

Published: Aug 17, 2017

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered . . . they will live in safety when I inflict punishment on all their neighbors who maligned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God” (Ezekiel 28:25–26).

The Israelites had wandered so far from God, they’d forgotten they were His children. While His punishments of destruction and exile seem harsh, they were necessary to discourage His people from returning to idols for help. In spite of its sin, God loved Israel.

The nations around the people of Israel didn’t understand that Israel’s destruction was an act of God’s love. The people of Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, and Tyre rejoiced as they watched Israel’s destruction. The actions of these mockers resulted in their deaths.

At the end of time, mockers will be condemned to eternal death. But repentant souls will receive God’s grace to live in eternal peace with their Heavenly Father.

Thought for Today: God disciplines His children not out of hatred, but out of a desire to rescue them from the overwhelming power of sin.
